Mother’s Day is just around the corner (14th May for anyone who has forgotten).
I bet by Saturday 13th May, everyone would be trying to scrape in the best dress from Witchery or Chanel perfume or the latest Dyson Vacuum in the shops, or to find the most perfect bouquet.

Our Mothers deserve the best of the best.
This is why on Mother’s Day this year, I will be spoiling my Mother with lunch at one of the best restaurants in Sydney. Because let’s face it, she has fed me well in the past 21 years too. And now it’s my turn to give back.

Enjoy a nice day trip with Mum at Avalon on the Beach. Just a 2hr drive outside of Sydney, enjoy their Mother’s Day $69 pp Mother’s Day Seafood Special then soak in some sun while drinking some Moscato on the Northern Beaches. If you want something closer, then go check out Botanic Restaurant in the CBD. A soft and subtle garden-like decor and complimentary wine with the lunch special? WHY NOT??

Ahhhh, if you can’t stand early mornings but still want to spoil Mum – check out the Sydney Fish Markets. Be super aware that the markets will be packed by 10:00 but you know, we all like sleep. Have you heard of the new Sushi Donut? (Look below)  I’m screaming too. If the Sydney Fish Markets is a bit too much for you, check out Viet Hoa in Cabramatta – an Oyster Bar and Kitchen. (Psst, they do $1 Oysters on Wednesday nights so if you want to celebrate Mother’s Day early, I suggest you do!)

High Tea

The one and only place for High Tea in Sydney is the Intercontinental Sydney. Enough said. Check out their Mother’s Day Special!
